Who we are

What we collect

When you send a project enquiry we collect your name, organisation, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, sector, the services you are interested in, your budget and your message. When you apply to our talent roster we collect your name, email address, phone number, the platforms and handles you share, your follower count, niche, bio and any media kit you upload.

Why we collect it

We use these details to reply to your enquiry or application. You give your consent when you submit a form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Enquiries are stored on our own server so our team can reply. When you send one we also email you a confirmation with your reference number. That email is sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which receives your email address and first name to deliver it.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept cookies. Until you choose “Accept all”, the only cookie we set is the one that remembers your choice.

If you accept, we record the pages you visit, the website that sent you here, your device type, browser, screen width and theme, and actions such as tapping the WhatsApp button or submitting an application. This is linked to a random ID in a cookie, not to your name, and we do not store your IP address. We keep it for about 13 months.

• mic_vid (analytics, 12 months): a random ID that tells repeat visits apart.
• mic_sid (analytics, 30 minutes): a random ID for a single visit.
• mic_theme (preference, 12 months): remembers light or dark theme.

Your theme choice is also kept in your browser’s local storage so the site opens in the right theme. To change your cookie choice, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and you will be asked again.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Email makeitcountdigital@gmail.com to make a request. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
